Fund Raising Day in New York 2007 is almost here—Thursday, June 14th at the Marriott Marquis—and the Committee has been hard at work to make sure it’s chock full of great things.
Changing Our World, Inc. is Lead Sponsor of the Day, which begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Exhibit Hall. Close to 100 vendors will be with us to demonstrate their products and services. Visit the Exhibit Hall throughout the day, enjoy refreshments, and take advantage of the ever popular Internet Café!
The luncheon Keynote Speaker is Commissioner Israel L. Gaither, National Commander and leader of The Salvation Army in the United States of America—one of America's most well-known charities. Commissioner Gaither was recognized as “one of the 10 Best Communicators for 2006” by the San Francisco Examiner. Come hear him!
Funders, senior level professionals and consultants are ready to share their knowledge with you in Tracks that focus on Advanced Management, Corporate and Foundation Giving, Direct Mail, Internet and Technology, Major Gifts, Research, Special Events, and Fundamentals—the Track that awards a certificate to those who participate in all four sessions.
The Senior Level Professional Track has been expanded and is back by popular demand. New this year is a Consultants Track and a Professional Development Track. Add to these an array of interactive Workshops and there truly is something for everyone at every level in our industry—volunteer and professional staff alike. Also new this year—attendees can receive up to 50 points toward CFRE accreditation!
Career Services is ready to go with mentoring, resume review and career counseling. Job seekers and organizations in search of candidates can find each other through our all-day Jobs Bank. And once again FRDNY is offering Maurice Gurin Memorial Scholarships to a limited number of fundraisers new to the field. Applicants and supporters of this marvelous program are most welcome to apply.
