 Hello Everyone!
Fund Raising Day in New York 2008 is Friday, June 13th and it’s new and bigger and better than ever. Be sure to register yourself, staff and key volunteers before April 21st online or by mail to take advantage of the special group rate of $260 per person!
You’ll discover new additions along with favorites at America’s Largest One-Day Conference on Philanthropy. Funders, senior professionals and other experts renowned in their fields will provide valuable insight on:
- Finding corporate dollars in a competitive environment
- Coordinating multi-channel fundraising efforts
- Linking politics and philanthropy
- Facebook? My Space? Building an online community
- Identifying New Sources of Funding
These and other topics that will help us negotiate and conquer the challenges we face today are incorporated into Tracks that address Advanced Management, Career Development, Corporate and Foundation Giving, Direct Mail, Internet & Technology, Major Gifts, Senior Management, Special Events and, of course, the Fundamentals Track, which covers all bases and provides a certificate to everyone attending all four sessions! Tracks combined with Workshops and Career Services ensure a day designed to help fundraisers at all levels perform better than ever.
At lunch, network with your colleagues and let our fabulous Luncheon Keynote Speaker, The Honorable Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, Secretary of State, New York State Department of State recharge you for the afternoon sessions. Secretary Cortés-Vázquez is the former Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at Cablevision Systems Corporation. Before then, she was recognized for her role as Executive Director of ASPIRA, the oldest and largest nonprofit youth leadership development and education advocacy agency in the nation.
You can participate in another, very important part of FRDNY – Maurice Gurin Memorial Scholarships. A limited number of scholarships are available to cover the cost of the conference for colleagues from organizations with budgets under $1 million.
It all begins at 7:30 in the morning in the Exhibit Hall.
