AFP, Greater New York Chapter makes every effort to ensure that its exhibit hall is in keeping with the educational nature of the conference. The chapter does not endorse or imply endorsement of any product or service offered by any exhibitor, nor should any exhibitor claim any such endorsement.

LIABILITY: AFP, Greater New York Chapter shall not be responsible for any loss,theft or damage to the property of the exhibitor, his, her or its employees or representatives. Further, AFP, Greater New York Chapter
will not be liable for damage or injury to persons or property from any cause whatsoever by reason of the use or occupancy of the exhibit space or the participation in Fund Raising Day in New York by the
exhibitor. The exhibitor assumes entire responsibility for and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save AFP, Greater New York Chapter and their employees and agents, harmless against all claims,losses and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines and attorneys’ fees arising out of or caused by the exhibitor’s installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or part thereof, excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of AFP, Greater New York Chapter and their employees and agents.

Each exhibitor assumes all responsibility for compliance with local,city and state ordinances and Terms and Conditions covering fire,safety and health. All parts of all displays must be made of flameproof materials and must meet the specifications of local fire authorities. In addition, all electrical signs and equipment must be wired to meet specific local electrical and fire codes.

USE OF SPACE:  AFP, Greater New York Chapter may evict exhibitors who, because of noise, conduct of personnel, methods of operation, or any other reason, detract from the general educational character of the conference. Audio/video presentations, slide shows, or other sound producing devices must be kept at conversational levels and must not be objectionable to neighboring exhibitors. Any equipment that exhibits excessive noise must be run intermittently for specific demonstrations only. AFP, Greater New York Chapter reserves the right to restrict the use of glaring lights or objectionable lighting effects. In the event of eviction, no refund will be issued.

No exhibitor shall erect any walls or displays which prevent the viewing of adjacent exhibitors. All exhibit decorations, equipment and displays must remain within the boundaries of the rented exhibit space. No exhibiting company shall dismantle (breakdown) their exhibit space prior to the scheduled closing time unless previously authorized by show management. A $500 fine will be imposed for failure to comply.

UNOCCUPIED SPACE:  In the event that any rented exhibit space remains unoccupied at the official opening of the exhibit hall, AFP, Greater New York Chapter reserves the right to rent such space to any other exhibiting company
or to use the space in any way it sees fit. The original exhibiting company shall in no way attempt to infringe upon or take over the unoccupied space. Additionally, the original exhibiting company is
still obligated to pay the full amount of its invoice under the terms of the contract.

INABILITY TO PERFORM:  If AFP, Greater New York Chapter should be prevented from holding the exhibit program by any cause beyond its control (such as fires, strikes, Acts of God, etc.) or cannot permit the exhibitor to occupy his space due to circumstances beyond its control, AFP, Greater New York Chapter will refund to the exhibitor the amount of rental paid less a proportionate share of exposition expenses and AFP, Greater New York Chapter shall have no further obligation or liability to the exhibitor.
